Salutations!
I hope that this blog finds everyone in high spirits. I myself, on the other hand, am glad to be bringing the day to a close. I spent most of the day sporadically crying, and simultaneously completing various errands. The bank teller was terribly sweet and she gave me a sucker as she told me she couldn't help me. I attribute her gentle manner to the tear-stained cheeks and puffy eyes that gave away my demeanor as I entered the bank.
It was just one of those days where my perspective was off just enough to make me miserable. I found out that the degree I've been pursuing will take a significantly longer time to attain than I originally thought. I understand the notion of needing to sacrifice to get what you want, but damn, I wasn't prepared to sacrifice this much. A mentor in another life told me that when life gets tough, you just put on your boxing gloves, keep your chin up, and fight harder. I always loved that advise. It took me roughly 10 hours to get their, but I've got my chin back up now. My heart hurts, but at least my head is screwed back on now. I attribute quite a bit of the improvement to a very fancy Miss Mary Jane.
But enough about that.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all of your support and awesome compliments. This experience has made me feel flattered and particularly vain. Both things I've more than come to terms with. :-) :-) I appreciate all of you, and I hope I get to go pink! Does anyone know the criteria for the member review results to end in the Hopeful going PInk? I've been looking, but not terribly diligently, I'm reluctant to admit. Once again, I appreciate you and I'm glad you enjoyed the set!!!!
