Yesterday my partner Ross, our puppy Rudie and I drove about 700 kilometres north to his parents place to spend Christmas and New Year here.

We arrived in the afternoon and I made myself an amaretto sour and jumped straight in the pool!

Then at about 4 o'clock this morning Ross was trying to get out of bed when he dislocated his knee! After visiting the hospital we have returned home, he's going to have to get an MRI and currently has a splint and crutches.

It's now 9am and we just had a feed of bacon and eggs, I'm sitting out the back enjoying my vanilla latte and a vape.
