Finals coming up. If I haven't been around much it's only because I've been ridiculously busy. Spent the last couple of weeks working on a mock appellate brief. We argued them before judges on Tuesday. I got my ass handed to me. The judge who have me a hard time told me after that he was particularly hard on me because he had a professional interest in the issue we were arguing and I was on the wrong side. No problem. My professor told me I did the best job of keeping the judges on the legal points I was trying to argue. I told him it was only because every time I got confused by the questions they were asking, I'd say "BUT THE CASES SAY...!!"

Anyway, that was allright and it's over now. A week and a half to finals and then I'm done. I've also got to get a transfer application out by Friday. Whew.

Also, I had an interview for a job in Montpelier last week. I hope I get it. One way or another I think I'm heading back East for the summer. Just a matter of whether I'll be in Upstate NY or VT.


And in other news, I just found out that I went to summer camp with the kid who plays Tommy Donnely in "the Black Donnelys". That is, I knew I went to summer camp with him, but I didn't know he was on TV. He had just been in his first movie (One of by Sea) when I knew him and he was an arrogant little prick. I guess all 14 year olds are arrogant little pricks though.

Take it easy everybody, and I hope I can spend a little more time here before to long.
