Yeah, I know what you mean. A family friend of mine's parents died when he was a teenager. Within two years, two of his sisters died, then he moved to the US to be with his last living family member also a sister who died a year after he arrived. His first born son died when he was 16 (every single one of them in car accidents mind you). Just I mean, what the hell, you know. And he's one of the nicest people I've ever met.
I fell asleep with an adiobook version of Dune playing last night and I dreamed all morning of ambushing Harkonnen from a mountainside. It was pretty fantastic.
