I shot my new set yesterday and blimey! I woke up this morning and I couldnt move! I think I have pulled muscles I didnt know I had "making some shapes". I have wound up missing work today as a result. Oh dear!
The shoot yesterday was ridiculously funny. I knew it was going to be a surreal one, becuase before we started, my photographer's girlfreind (who works in an art gallery, like me, thats how I know them) phoned her up and said "fucking hell! I have just met Margeret Thatcher"! Apparently our evil Former Prime Minister had just shown up in her gallery! This odd event, seemed to set the tone for the rest of the day.
As for the pics themselves, I have only seen them on the camera so far, but there are some really good ones (as well as some really goofy ones that will never see light of day!) I was drinking Cava throughout and the whole thing reminds me of an episode of Absolutelly Fabulous somehow, mainly becuase I kept tripping up, (I am not used to wearing heels for protracted periods) and also becuase Photographer Zeta and I, kept feeling the need to take fag breaks every 10 minutes. The worst aspect was the fact that we shot right next to a window in a first floor flat on a busy road, with loads of really bright lighting equipment and this meant that anyone who happened to be sat on the top deck of the double decker buses which repeatedly passed the window, managed to get an eyeful of my naked arse! Oh well, I do live across the street from a lap-dancing club, so this kindof nonsense is to be expected in our neighbourhood!
Obviously I hope that Staff likes me pics, but even if they dont, I had so much fun with this shoot, that I have no regrets at all about the whole thing. I keep thinking about it today and laughing to myself about how it went down!
