FUCK CARS.
August 17th: Bumped into the back of someone getting off the freeway because she saw the cyclist before me and broke harder. Oh well, these things happen. It's just a couple of scratches. Probably not worth getting my insurance involved.
September 21st: $575 EACH for rego and insurance.
Oct 5th: About $240 for a service and a check up leading to...
Oct 19th: $910 to fix my power steering rack, a cracked belt and some other thing
Today: Got a call from RACV with the quote for the couple of scratches on the bumper of the other car: $954.30
This is because with these new cars a couple of scratches means taking the whole fucking thing apart and putting it back together ($954) before you paint over the scratches ($.30).
Of course, the insurance I just paid for is no fucking use because the excess is $500, and $400 for being under 25.
FUCK. THAT. SHIT.
