Today is a sad day. It's my once-niece's birthday. I haven't seen her in over a year. Her mother refuses my calls and packages so...as far as she knows I've forgotten about her even though I helped raise her every day until she was five, along with her younger brother and sister. I miss them every day. But this is what happens when domestic partnerships separate and the straight sister never liked you anyway, but enjoyed the free rent and child care.
On a completely different note, I've started a new book. It will be interesting to see if I make it though it without destroying this one. (I burned the previous)
Joys of joys I found out I get to detox from my migraine meds and sleeping pills at the same time. I start tonight. Doctor's orders. Apparently I'm suffering nerve damage. I knew my playing (piano) was becoming increasingly hard....now I know why...hopefully it's not permanent.

That's enough whining for one evening...sorry to unload on whoever unexpectedly happened on this...goodnight.
