I am amazed by people claiming to be defrauded by Playboy since Jessica Alba isn't actually posing nude inside the pages of the publication. Well, I'm not a huge fan of Playboy ... I am a collector, but my experience was with the 60s and 70s where Playboy had some great articles. The newer issues are something of a mockery ... but I digress.
While it isn't incredibly common, there are celebrities featured on the cover of the magazine that are not posing nude (or even captured in Oops) in the inside of the magazine. A recent example that comes to mind was a cover with Paris Hilton. The celebrity oogling fan could find her nude nearly anywhere else they searched for her name, but she was only dressed in some really horrific looking lingerie inside the issue in which she was featured as the cover girl.
I have always been sceptical of the status of the celebrity covergirl unless it is clearly stated "Katarina Witt Nude!" When I first saw the Alba issue I thought this was one that I needed to purchase several copies of so that I could turn around and sell them at an insane profit later. Upon further inspection of the article, I came to doubt that Jessica was nude, a suspicion that was later confirmed.
Of course, the next complaint will be there mere suggestion that Jessica Alba might be nude was enough to cloud the judgement of countless men and women, resulting in the purchase of a magazine which greatly disasspointed them. They have a debilitating disease and Playboy Entertainment Incorporated should be punished for taking advantage of such disability.
