Shitty day. Another day where I'm stuck at work longer than I should be, today it was two and a half hours. Which is long when one considers the day is already nine hours long regularly. Add that to the list of days that I've had to come in early and/or stay late. It will make for a nice paycheck, but it makes for a tired Asael when I finish my week on Wednesday.
Add to the fact that my car breaks down on the way home. The brakes went bad. I knew they were getting there, but had sincerely hoped that they had enough left in them to get me to my appointment on Friday. No such luck. Thankfully the gift of AAA is the gift that gives back. Car towed, not where I had my appointment, but a place nearer home, with a good rep, and they should be able to get the work done quickly.
Get home, work is having a fit because we don't have a script, the fucking nut job of a doctor won't fax the damned thing to the pharmacy, like ALL of the other physicians that our clients see do as a matter of course. I was supposed to pick the fucking thing up but forgot about it after having to wait 80 fucking minutes in a waiting room for a five minute appointment for a client. That appointment was such fucking bullshit. After that I had to take a urine sample to the lab. Mind you, I'm falling asleep at this point because of all the extra hours I've pulled and the fact that they've cut into my sleep. I didn't get home Monday night until 11p and I'm leaving for work at 5a. Bed at midnight, waking up around 4a. Working what turns into an 11 hour shift because of this rediculous wait a Dr's office with an impatient client.
Furthermore, I'm stuck all fucking day working directly with an abusive client because we can't find additional hands ... so, I'm practically wrestling with this client during times I should be taking care of business.
Yes, ultimately, I forgot. Understand that there are extenuating circumstances so don't run me through the meat grinder.
