We need short and sleazy movies for the "Sleaze Z
Fest 2" on October 23rd, at Heaven Gallery. You
can interpret the word "sleazy" in any way you
like, and it can be as graphic or pornographic as
you want... or not... Just understand that
nothing shocks us. We'd love to be shocked, and
by all means you can try (please - we need some
excitment). The only criteria, however, is that
the movies be sleazy. Deadline Sept. 18. See our

We also need interns and volunteers to help with
publicity and sponsorship, and help on the
screening committee. There is some pay for
dedicated interns with a talent for ad sales &
sponsorship wheeling and dealing. We're having a
meeting this Saturday, Aug. 26 at the Artvamp
space. Please contact me at the e-mail address
below if you want to attend and start getting
involved in this perverse endeavor.

Just to let you know what that may involve this
year, we're planning sleazy movies + sleazy
photography and art + sleazy performances +
probably a half-naked fashion show + a few things
we can't mention up front. This is an 18 and over
show due to the content. Those who dress
ultra-sleaze will get discounted admission - so
there should be lots of eye candy.

This will also be the pre-launch party for a new
web community, tentatively called
"noisydaughter.com." Which focusses on electronic
and new wave music and naked people in elaborate
make-up. The ber talented Camilla Ha is the
genius of a stylist and make-up artist on this
project, and local artists are creating
accessories and fashion for the models to wear
(and remove, of course). Think Liquid Sky, but
lots and lots more flesh. Some of the models and
featured musicians on the site will be performing
live at the show.
