did i ever mention how much i love california??? the sun is out and a cool breeze is coming through my window.been having a real lazy and kickback day. Its what about time i had time off. I slept in, if 10 am is considered sleeping in. listening to hepcat quite a bit and falling in love with this band. smoking a joint and reading Paulo Coehlo, Veronica decides to die. I have read almost every book this guy has written and only have about two to go, he's written about seven. I just purchased them on amazon. I orderd my skates yetserday and they should be coming in tommorow. I have a new found love for taking long hot showers.
here's some excerpts from this book.
"Poets loved the full moon; they wrote thousands of poems about it, but it was the new moon that veronica loved best because there was still room to grow, to expand, to fill the whole of its surface with light before its inevitable decline."
"Looking up at the sky, she had an indescribable sense of well-being, as if the infinite nature of the universe had revealed her own eternity to her."
"When she had achieved almost everything she wanted in life, she had reached the conclusion that her existence had no meaning, because every day was the same. And she had decided to die."
"It's what you are, not what others make of you."
"Certain people, in their eagernass to construct a world no external threat can penetrate, build exaggeratedly high defenses against the out-side world, against new people, new places, different experiences, and leave their inner worrld stripped bare. It is there that bitterness begins its irrevocable work."
