This is a short film meant to express my experience with keratoconus, a degenerative eye disease with no cure, being legally blind and using photography to attempt to share that experience with others.
I wear specialized contact lenses and they take a toll on my eyes. I often have to choose between intense strain and average vision with contacts or relaxed face muscles and very poor vision without them.
The abstract photography helps to occupy my mind, either from the pain or frustration of blurred vision. It also resembles what I see with my natural eye. Although, some are exaggerated for artistic integrity.

I will also engage in the comments if you have questions or similar experiences to share.
