hiya kidzz... well, the last few days have been kinda tuff... the fam is doing well... my Mom is being the strong southern woman she has always been... the service for my Dad was on Monday & I had been kinda nervous about that... I knew I would be expected to say a few words but I couldn't bring myself to prepare anything... I did end up speaking to the crowd (& it was a crowd... that was very cool) and managed to keep my shit somewhat together... almost 200 people showed up for the service... most of them were friends from his old job and the various community organizations he was involved in... a huge group of ski patrol buddies came in from around the sout east to pay their respects... I knew that my faather had done charity work but I had no idea how extensive it was... (he started S.C.A.N., the Stop Child Abuse Now network in North Carolina through the Exchange Club of NC... one of the largest abuse prevention & counciling services in the south east)... he had also been a volunteer for the Ski Patrol for 25 years... it felt so good to see this large extended family he had developed over the years...

if I have'nt already, I just wanted to say thanks to all my friends here who offered their support and love... it meant alot to me... I don't think this has really hit me yet... I know that it probably won't until the X-mas break when I stop working & going at full speed... for now, I'm just going to spend the next few days with my Mom, sister & neice... my bro already headed back to New Jersey... back to LA on Saturday most likely... gotta get back to work... this is one of our busiest times of the year... I've got a show going up on the 10th & will only have a few days to wrap things up when I get back...

I know it sounds a bit cheesey, but I love you kidzz... I've only actually met a couple of you in the real world but you have all become a part of my life... if there is anything I can find more room for in my life, it's friends , family & love & compassion... everything else is just a distraction...
