well... a pretty good turkey day... food, friends & fun... the girl & I baked three pies.... pumpkin, pecan, apple... all was happy and joyous until I got a call from my Mom telling me that my Father had passed away... I had just spoken to them that afternoon... they had just fininshed dinner and all were in good spirits... she tells me that he just sat back in his easy chair to have a nap after dessert, fell asleep & didn't wake up... it helps my heart to know that it was peaceful for him... his health had been failing in the last few years but this was still unexpected... I'm flying home on Sunday to help my Mom with the details... this is gonna be kinda hard but I know she needs me there...
