fucking Saturday RAWKS!... finally, a day off... actually two...day off laundry & cleaning baby...ok, I'm a dork... I get excited about being able to clean my home space... ok, the girls coming over for the weekend... I like making nice for her... I am a dork
remember what I was saying about your bodies becoming a battle field again Sistas?... check this out...NY Times... pay attention ladies... before it's too late
three days of work next week & then it's time for the gobble gobble feast fest... got a batch of people commin' over to the garden to stuff their bellies... should be good... still gotta decide what kinda pie to make... pecan?... some kinda fruit?... I actually really love baking pies... yep, dork... hey, what did you think the "pie" part of my name was all about...
made X-mas plans yesterday... goin up to Fracisco to house sit for an old friend while he's away... a week or so in the foggy bottom will do me good... some peace & quiet in a beautiful Victorian... get some writing done... the girl might come with... ... if any of you SF kidz will be around, drop me a line... it would be nice to hang out with some friendly strangers...
so... the girl's birthday is a week from today... any suggestions... actually, the other night we were driving along and passed this van set up on a corner with a bunch of those back lit photo images... you know, the ones of sunsets and water falls where the light is moving behind the water and there's a cheesey water sound loop... she squeeled with girlish delight... she like's shiney things... so I pull over & end up buying her one of the NY sky line with the WTC towers in it... it's so goofy but she loves it... but that doesn't really count as a b-day present... lookin for a little help here Sistas...
kay ya'll... time to walk the doggies and start the day
love the life you have, live the life you love

It all sounds like fun - have a great long weekend!
K.. if she likes those moving light pictures, then she must have similar tastes to mine, because I do too! It all depends on how serious you guys are... but I've always wanted someone to find something unique for me at an antique store (not those expensive ones.. the little guys). I can almost always find a cheap, cool piece of jewelry, a cozy, preshrunk sweater, a light summer dress, a kick ass record, or just an interesting piece of art.
Have fun.
