well... that was a bit of a weekend... I decided Fri nite to drive up & surprise my friend in SF for his anual house party Saturday nite...piled into the car with the girl (her first time in Frisco) Sat afternoon and got up there in time to shower & have a few cocktails before folks showed up... he had built a small stage in his back yard & we had a little performance art salon in the middle of the party... spent the next day recouping & watching tv... got back on the road around 10pm & got back to LA about 4am... dropped off the girl... went to my friend Sheila's place & crashed so I could give her a ride to the airport in the morning... got her to LAX by 11 & then go to work... can I sleep now please?
lots to do over the next two weeks before I leave town for a month... wondering if I'll have time to see the SG LA show... summer's wrapping up so that means the summer time girl friend thing is too... we've known it was coming but I don't know if that's going to make it any easier... we're both out of town during Aug. so I'm hoping that it will just kinda happen... the hard part is that we'll see each other nearly every day for the next year or so... I hope that my heart is strong enough...
