I took a ride to 3 to see the lovely and talented ayem's photography. I was there really early so I missed all the festivities
next time...( I always say that) The work was very good which makes me VERY happy because I hate to lie and tell someone I like their work when I don't.
Story: I was sitting at the local coffee joint watching two people eyeball each other. Not he obvious"hey baby" dick swinging crap. It was worse. It was the shy, stolen glance over the top of your book variety. They were both sitting away from their tables facing each other.peeking. just when I thought the girl was going to make a move she gets up looks at him and goes into another room..obviously inviting him to follow. The guy gets a "woe is me" look on his face stares off into space for a minute and leaves. Girley comes back into the room 5 minutes later looks around, drops her head and retreats back into the other room. I was going to sum it up, but I think its lameness is pretty self explanatory...blah

Oh, and I'm glad you took the time to come out and see my stuff and I'm glad for your honest opinion. I had been working so hard on many things this July and when you are in the thick of creating so much work, it is impossible to judge your own stuff. I was scared shitless being on a main gallery night street that I would have work that was sophmoric or boring; I'm pleased to find this wasn't the case. The pressure for me was enormous, especially being the only exibitor, but even the people I didn't get a chance to talk to at all or didn't know at all who just came in off the street were looking for a long time, which is a good sign in my opinion. Whew!
