My Weekend ....
Damn, did I have a bad few days. Starting on Thursday. On my drive to work some jackass in front of me shoots a rock from their back tire which hits my windshield dead center. Instantly I have a 14 inch crack about 14 inches across. My car is only 18 months old so needless to say I was more than a little upset. I tried to get the guys plate#, since he'd be responsible for the damage but he had mud and slush covering it. So I'm thinking, ok I'll wait till the next red light and get his info. No such luck, he turns at the next intersection and I get to drive to work steaming.
After a pretty rough day at work I get home to find my SG account has been de-activated. I had forgotten that an SG payment was supposed to go through and my credit card is maxed. So I get a nice 'you must renew at the newer, higher rate if you want back in' message. So yeah, even less impressed than before. So I make a payment on my credit card to free up some room and even call them to tell them I just made a payment. But because my bank website was doing maintenance I didn't get a confirmation # of the payment so the credit card company says "we have to wait the few days for the payment to go through'.
So all weekend I had no access to my SG fix. You have any idea how hard it is to go without beautiful, tattooed girls cold turkey? It's not easy, let me tell you.
But at least I got an offer to renew at a special rate, which I jumped on so I won't have to worry about this for another year. So that's a plus.
And then things got even better: my girlfriend, who's been 'moody' lately, bought me an early Christmas present, The Dark Knight
Needless to say it was movie night last night. I swear if Ledger doesn't get an Oscar for The Joker there's no justice.

I agree - a big time thing to have watched. In 10 years we'll get to say "This is what I was doing, when the first black president was sworn in". We'll all remember it Well.. those of us who care enough to realize what it means.
