The death of this man makes me sad.

We've lost an important fellow human yesterday, one who did important work interpreting and explaining the strange world we make through our actions in war and cultural collision. He and his work will be dearly missed.

survived the first illness in the house for 2012 without catching it - woo hoo! Little girl is much better and energetic, wife is still on the mend. Saturday we get to have Christmas with the wife's family finally.

Yup, a really interesting ride indeed! I've interviewed few photographers about the passage from analog to digital and what it meant for them & their working experience. It's been an interesting insight!

I truly feel that analog has something more magical... I do understand all the awesome things we could do with the digital techniques (SG wouldn't even exist without it!), but developping films in a dark room has something fascinating smile

So, the state of New York got real over the past couple of days and recognized same-sex marriage. Hoo-fucking-rah! I'm so tired of this being an issue - because it SHOULDN'T BE AN ISSUE. I know SO many people who are in committed same-sex relationships who are better suited to be 'married' than some of my hetero friends. I am just tired of restricting those...
