So, today is the release day for UNDER THE MOONS OF MARS: New Adventures on Barsoom, a new Anthology book set on the world of Edgar Rice Burroughs series, JOHN CARTER OF MARS. Edited by John Joseph Adams, it has 15 fantasy authors paired with 15 fantasy artists (myself included) to tell new stories that expand that world beyond the eleven novels that ERB wrote, a world that is celebrating its 100th Anniversary and awaiting the first full-length theatrical Motion Picture based on the series, Disney's JOHN CARTER arriving March 9th. I am really excited to be a part of this book, and I have some images to share below:
I tell you what--it's a good read! So, go out to your local bookseller and ask for UNDER THE MOONS OF MARS from Simon and Schuster! It's good stuff!

They are. I have a friend who loves the John Carter books. He even made a John Carter tribute statue.

Excellent! I would love to see that statue! So, with Discworld--what is your favorite novel in the series? Mine would either be the first one I ever read, Mort or Feet of Clay. Although, I also adore Hogfather, Night Watch, Going Postal and Thief of Time...
