these are the La Platas that are on the west side of Durango
this is a fun fishy sculpture thing along the riverwalk on the Animas River in Durango
this pair of clouds, which sits over the distant San Juan range, reminds me of many many neo-abstract-expressionist paintings
I'm staying at the southern end of this particular mountain range
and here is one of the photos which will become a presentation back east
about how the low water manipulations of rivers out here can benefit both fishing and whitewater kayaking
whitewater demands more water, but if we can work with the fisherman, then low water opportunities exists for both groups,whos seasons will be extended.
