I had a 50/50 trip up to Maine this weekend. Ate something that made me sick for all of Saturday so I missed what is probably the best creek run in the north east (Gulf Hagas). It's an awesome hike if anyone ever gets up there, but I was hoping to paddle my plastic "yacht" down it's falls. I was a bit jealous of my friends who did.
Sunday, however, was warm, sunny, and awesome. We got on Moxie stream and paddled the 2 miles that lead up to Moxie Falls (and got out of our boats about 50 feet before Moxie Falls).
I got a flat tire and discovered that the jack in the new truck is pretty wimpy. I'll have to go to Sears and get a real one so I can change a tire faster next time. But, the new vehicle handles the nasty dirt roads very well, and the built in satellite phone is pretty cool (got to wish mom a happy day on Sunday from the middle of nowhere)
I'll post some pictures later up on Smug Mug. I figure that using a service like Smug Mug is easier because I can just do mass uploads and people can look at higher resolution images if they want.

Maybe warm weather will make both of our days better.
