totally wired and tired
I just got back home from 6 weeks in Colorado. Left on Saturday night and pulled in here about an hour ago.
As I drove along 70 from Denver to Columbus, then up to 80 to finish the drive to (almost) NYC I thought of all the SG people who live along that route. Would have been nice to stop (but I am pressed for time)
In six weeks I.....
lost the rear end to the van, as well as the transfer case in Little Rock on the way out, and had to rent a vehcle to finish the drive. Bought a new truck in Colorado
learned that bread is waaaaaaay more difficult to make than cookies
and found out that my friend's recipes are excellent and in high demand
went to the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and my absolute new favorite Zion National Park
arrived in southern Colorado with huge amounts of snow and watched it all melt away to spring
hiked, snowboarded, kayaked, ATVed
buried a dog and helped train a new adoped one
became a partner in (yet another) business
and now, back to art and kayaking.....

I'll bet it was beautiful. Loved the sound of all of it....except the burying the dead dog part of the story.
