Hello to my loving Cats and Bats,
I hope everyone's November is treating them well. I confess I haven't been posting as much lately because my health has been pretty bad, but I digress. <3 Everything happens for a reason. @matthewomen and I went to the SG Blackheart Burlesque show with @mah, and I got to hang out with @chrysis and @lego--two ladies that I adore to bits, and never see as much as I'd like. I also got to meet at talk with @adaliaangel and her hubby for a little while. Although, I couldn't hear a thing, from being next to the speakers on the stage. So, most of our conversation sounded like Peanuts characters to me and I feel really bad that I kept saying,"what?" lol.. My ears didn't reach normality till almost Wednesday, lol. BUT I got to stand on stage and help the girls out a bit, and that meant so much to this little ole Hopeful, I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to @sunshine and the rest of the girls for always being the greatest ladies.. I love this family more than words..

10/31: November 1st is National Author's Day in the US. Tell us about your favorite author or book!
This is a really hard question because I love to read.. I have more books than pairs of shoes. The book that changed my outlook on life was "A Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley. I feel like I matured more from reading that book than I did throughout all of my adolescent years. I will also, forever love V.C. Andrews. Her stories are sharp and vast.. A good part of my name came from her Dollanganger series. <3 ...and then there's J.K.Rowling, who gave my inner witch a place to belong and escape when every day life gets too difficult.
11/13: What is your favorite group on SG and why?
Hmm... This is hard, cause I love so many. I'm obviously going to say the Ballet Group, the SkateboarderS Group, the Band Photography Group and the GI Disorders group, but there are so many that I frequent alllllllllllllllll the time, like the SG Hopefuls Group, and the All Your Base Are Belong to Us Group. Then there's the Everything SG Group, and the Silliness Group. (also the 420 Group!)
11/21: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish?
I'm the oddball that doesn't really like most traditional Thanksgiving dishes.. I think Cranberry Sauce is disgusting. Have I mentioned my distaste for anything gelatin? Foods that have that constancy just freak me out. Nope, I don't like jellybeans either. lol.. I'm not really a canned yams person, but I do make yummy mashed sweet potato with a marshmallow/cream cheese "gravy." My sister used to eat that shit up, lol.. I also make a homemade creamychicken greenbean casserole, cause yeah.... as well as a brown sugar baked ham, cause ham is my favorite. The other other white meat. ;)
What are your plans for Thanksgiving? I don't really celebrate the holiday really, but I do tend to cook way more than I need to.. and end up giving a lot of it away. Hehe.. That's how it goes when both the people in your household eat like birds. lol

I have to say, ALSO, how excited I am... after several months of back and fourth with my artist, with different drawings and ideas on color and size... I SET MY APPOINTMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot even contain myself. I've wanted my little Gilbert on my throat for years, and on December 2nd, he'll finally be a part of me, forever.
Isn't he seriously the cutest little guy, ever?!?!?! Don't you just want to love and cuddle him so close?! Cause I do.. all my love to my bat friends. I wish I could care for them all.. <3<3<3
