Wow, thanks to all of you for your sweet and supportive comments! I'm almost into my third trimester now (they're all going so fast!) and have thankfully been feeling back to myself for a while now. It was amazing how foreign my own body felt to me for those first three months... the unpredictibility, the overall feeling of being ill, the aches and cramps and blahness!
I've been feeling the baby kick for a while now, and we had our ultrasound a couple of weeks ago...
the baby is a girl!
We're planning on naming her Molly Lynn, but we've been calling her Molly 'Bean' as she's had the nickname Bean since she was the size of one
We're steadily preparing her room, registering at babiesrus.com and jcpenney.com. We've added a few things online but need to go in the store to register. All you mommy types, if you can recommend toys and layette items that were must-haves, I'd really appreciate your insight! I've changed a diaper about 5 times in my life, about 15 years ago! Lets hope for 'motherly instinct'!
We've signed up for childbirth prep and breastfeeding prep classes, I hope that those are useful!

Lamaze is a wonderful line of baby toys. A bit pricey but worth it.

Wow, I've been gone so long I didnt know you were preggo! Congrats! I wanted a girl so bad, but I love my little boy too much to wanna trade him. Okay, here's the only wisdom I can think to share. Mirrors, and any toys that are black and white are really good for babies--they're eyesight sucks, and the contrast between black and white (and red) is really stimulating for them. And don't waste money ona diaper genie, if you haven't already. They're shit (no pun intended). Congrats again, post pics.
