So my husband and I are buying our first house soon. It's a long story and a kinda unique situation but it's all so very exiting and scary at the same time. The inside of the house is being completely remodelled, the outside is getting a new roof, so I get to pick the style of EVERYTHING. When it's done, it's going to be OUR house, just like building a new one.

It's like, playing The Sims but all grown up! Sometimes I swear I hear the little shopping music when I'm looking at kitchen cabinets!

And ebay! Lord! When our builder would normally put in plain jane faucets and stuff, I can pick up faucets and lighting fixtures for dirt!

SO yes. School full time, work full time, house design, Ubercon... my life continues at a quick and steady pace. I can't wait for october, when it all slows down a little. We should probably move in October, I expect...
