At any rate, the damned roads are awful, it's not even like we got that much snow, it's just that it's been constantly falling, I think, and the trucks can't keep up. My lil convertable, V - she doesn't like the snow - well, I think her racing tires are just not snow friendly. And well, that whole Converable thing, it's just not snow friendly.
Speaking of 'friendly', the Vagina Monologues girls had a 'V-session' tonight, where we all sit around and talk about why we're involved with the Monologues and VDay as an organization, etc. It's emotional, girl bonding kinda stuff.
Just when I think I have an outgoing personality, I realize that I'm really, really not. When surrounded by people I don't know, I'm just plain shy. I'll nail this performance, though, dammit. I'm still working on 'Crooked Braid'. I think I'm starting to understand who this woman is.
I'm headed to Chicago this weekend to hang out with my best friend. She's taking me to get mah hair did, and maybe we'll make a trip to Ikea. We're talking about havin cocktails at the top of the Hancock building, dinner at La Babareeba (authentic spanish cuisine - how I miss it!), and checking out some trendy plus size shops for some sexy new clothes. Hooray!
Then, I have SO much homework and stuff to do for Ubercon. I swear, I'm like the energizer bunny lately.
