A surprisingly interesting day. I went with my family to have lunch with my grandparents and cousins, which should have been a rather boring affair. It's nice to see family, but not my first choice of activities. A couple of strange things happened though.
First off, we have a french exchange student living in our house this semester named Soazic (yes, it's an awesome name!) and she came with us. My grandfather could remember her name so he, quite inexplicably, kept referring to her as "Watusi". Maybe he's giving a shout out to the native american people, I don't know. It was just really weird.
Secondly, we drove through a college near where my grandparent's live (Sewanee; The University of the South) and I randomly saw my best friend from elementary school! I knew he was going to school there, but I hadn't seen him in years, so that was kind of exciting. Hurray for reuniting with old friends!
2 DAYS TILL ENGLAND!
