So I'm going to do something that is probably automatic disqualification from ever being considered cool in SG universe, but I want to sing high praises to the beginning of football season. Since some people nowadays have problems with good old fashion gladatorial combat, this is what I must use instead to satisfy my blood lust. 
For those in Charlottesville, go watch UVA/Duke tomorrow night. Wear pretty dresses and hats and drink bourbon. Then find a nice boy from a good family with a job in the family firm, go home with him, pledge your undying love for him and your willingness to make babies on command, fellate him while his frat brothers watch, then throw them down on the ground, and commit ritual seppuku for the lot of you. Serves you right for not watching the game at leaving at halftime.
On a completely unrelated note, my family is going to see a summer stock performance of "Cats" tomorrow night in Crossville, TN. This sounds totally weird to me, but I guess they'll have a good time. I am going to stay here and be a completely worthless individual, so if anyone wants to IM me please feel free.

I gotta say (don't kill me for this) that I never went to a single UVA game while I was an undergrad there. Ever. Am I not cool in your universe now?
I actually know Morgan and Nick separately from SG - so I hang out with them lots. But I'd like to meet all you other people there too - and I'll drink one for ya
