Hello Boys and Girls!
I am in a great mood and let me tell you why.
Not only is it Saturday, so I *just* woke up (w00t for 10 hours of sleep instead of 4!) but also I got a new job!
For those of you who may no remember... my current job is a game tester at Microsoft- I test XBOX games. I've worked on Gears of War, Crackdown, and a component of PGR3. I've loved this job, it's been the best job I've had in my entire life!

Anyway, so you might be asking why I would want to leave such an excellent job? I am going to school during the day so I need a job that is in the afternoons or evenings. This game tester job was perfect- 6pm to 2am, then I went to school at 10am. Lack of sleep, but I really started to manage

So, I've been looking for a job and Amber pointed one out to me that sounded like it would be great. It's at and athletic club in Ballard- OAC, so it's very near to me. Anyway, they were looking for a full time front desk person for the shift from 2-10 Sun-Thurs. How great are those hours? I love them. So... I went to the interview and they told me that the full time position had already been filled... but I could still interview for part time. So I continued my interview and all that but told the lady that I really needed to have as closed to full time as I could get, I mean financially I really need to. So she understood, but really liked my interview and asked if I would come back for a second interview the following day to see the general manager. When she asked me that, I told her again (I don't want to waste anyone's time) that I need to have full time or close to it, so I was still looking for other jobs. She said okay and told me when to come in. So I come in the next day to meet with the general manager and we had a great interview, talked for like, an hour! I felt like I was just talking to someone, not interviewing. So he said how impressed the lady had been with me and now how impressed he was with me and that he was going to do something he had never done before... and offer me the full time position and tell the person who was hired the day before that they could have a part time position. I was exstatic!

So this brought me to my pickle.... I start training on Monday from 12-4:30, and I still had one more week at MS... so I would be going to school from 10-12, at the OAC from 12:30-4:30, then at MS from 6-2am... leaving me a total of 8 hours betweek work ending at MS and school starting to drive, sleep, eat, do homework and anything else.... CRAZY. Not happening.
So I talked to my manager and MS and told him the whole story and he said, "Good job! Congradulations and how about you just end your contract tonight (meaning last night)"
Everything worked out well.

Phew! Soooorrrryyyy that was sooooo long! I had a lot to say. Hope all of you are alive and well!
