So last weekend I visited Dublin with my sister in law, my twin and SIL's partner to see Biffy Clyro at Kilmainham. It was pretty fucking amazing, although short! We didn't do a massive amount there, arthritis does limit your walking abilities, and it hurt so much after the gig, and for a few days after. We visited the Archaeological Museum and saw the peat bog bodies, which was pretty fucking freaky, but I highly recommend visiting, there are so many amazing artefacts to see! We also visited the Natural History Museum, which, er, was funny to be honest! A lot of the animals look really derpy, my twin and I had many laughs impersonating them!
They've really improved their live playing skills, Si's singing was flawless, 100 times better than when I saw them in Blackpool, I need to see them again, makes me a bit sad that they'll most likely only do arena tours now though, I want to meet them again! I have a couple of Biffy lyric tatt's, one on my ribs, and the other on my forearm, had a bit of an odd occurrence happen when I googled 'Biffy Clyro tattoo' when researching my next Biffy ink, my tattoo was the second hit, wat. I was a bit weirded out, but really chuffed!
I've decided to get a Da Vinci piece next anyway, I couldn't find anything I really clicked with in terms of a band tattoo, but decided to have a look at Da Vinci since Si has a lot of pieces, and found one I really love! So it can be a band related tattoo, in a really strange way!
Plenty of that was drunk, of course!
