Been a while, again.
Doomsday is upon me, the colonscopy is on Thursday. Sorely tempted to hook the laptop up in the bathroom so at least I wont be bored in the bathroom when I'm living in there! Haha, the worst part is I'm actually serious about putting the laptop in there
kind of sucks I have to be up at 6am though, to take laxatives, but oh well, if it gives me answers then it's worth it!
Sisters fella got robbed again, this time he lost everything of any worth to him. Last bank holiday he was robbed too, but he had his camera, his mac and his car with him. This time some guys broke in with a crowbar and knives, thankfully noone was in or it could've been worse. They took his mac with all his photo's, graphic and web design work which were yet to be edited and uploaded, his SLR camera (stupidly they didn't take the more expensive lenses), basically everything of personal worth to him, including his car, which had his step dads camera and gear in it (he'd borrowed it for a photoshoot, it was the first night he had the gear), and his step dad being minted, there was ALOT of gear, I'd imagine 10,000 isn't close to what was in that bag alone, including a custom made lens mount so he could use all his lenses with his newer camera, and a film camera, which in itself isn't worth much, but again, it's the personal things.
I know it could've been so much worse, but as he said to me, 26 years on this planet and he has his phone and some games to show for it. I cried when I found out, purely because of his laptop, so much amazing photography he was slowly uploading online, I cringe thinking about how much these twats will sell the loot for, it wont be anywhere near what it was worth. It gets to me that a photographer has had his world taken away, well 2 photographers have!
Anyway, this song reminds me what hopefully he'll start thinking soon, he's not eating and really struggling to sleep.
As I've said and know, it could've been a hell of alot worse, but you know, it doesn't make it feel any better D:
