And I shouldn't joke because I'm on the 6-week-long back to my roots tour in Kentucky, eating at Hooters and reading all my favorite young adult novels. The hard thing about these jaunts is not getting what you want out of them but keeping it once you're at home again. I'll be back in New York in a week and I'm concerned that everything I gained here is just going to slip away the way it did before. I should write it all down or something.

I listened to that "This is why I'm hot" reggae remix again. You were right, it's awesome.

Due to the cold weather and nobody feeling like participating, the "anything goes but clothes party" on Friday has been downgraded to "probably just a regular party, maybe Mardi Gras themed if we can get some beads." So that's good news.
I'll probably drive there, if you want me to pick you up. Ask Chase if he wants to go too.

Big changes are stressful but the rewards of a fat new place in a sick location will make up for it 10 fold. The right place will find you, (hopefully soon) Good luck. Want to go to a protest, downtown on saturday, for a couple hours. you know, drink coffee and rant about the government. good times.
