Okay, that's it. I am totally creating a game room when I grow up. It will be the most awesome and spectacular sight EVER to behold! Yes, when I grow up (no, turning 25 this month is not grown up) I will have the most brilliant decorated room to entertain oneself in. Because, of course, growing up is all about fun and entertainment... duh.
As some of you may have noticed from previous blogs, I get a little excited when I find creative ways to show off my geekiness. So this is it. This is where I would start with home furnishings if I (A) had a house, (B) had a career, (C) had disposable money, and (D) had children to share this with. Hey, I can dream, right??
They push together to make a house of cards...
Gotta have a table for board/card games. Video games aren't the only fun to be had...
Beanbag Chairs are required.
Although I think I could find some better legos, or at least a more creative design. I mean, legos are to children as paintbrushes are to artists.
Fun, but I would have this be lighting around the room instead of a table. Can you picture it?
This would be my trash can. Yes, it is required to have a trash can in a game room. Might as will make it pretty!
I think I would have the top layer turned half way, so it wasn't just a box.
Yes. Filling the room.
This was the best rug I could find. Although I think it would be more fun if it was multiple rugs in the shape of the game board pieces. Then you can rearrange them!!
Not sure how practical these would be. But they are amusing...
In case you can't see, the word search circles the words "one," "two," "three" etc. in their correct positions.
And of course you need a suitable trophy case style entertainment center for the various game systems which should all be used in turn.
I win.
Game over.
