Here are some fun posts about grammar and spelling. No, I am not a writer. No, I did not make any of this up. I just very much appreciate it. And no, I do not always listen to these rules (or know a lot about grammar in the first place). But I can write the words "a" and "lot" with a space between them!! Which brings me to my first post.
And a picture to entice you to click and read:
Who knows, maybe you'll learn a thing or two. The brilliant young lady and writer of the blog I have just directed you to has great wit and wonderful sarcasm with a high dose of honesty. One of my favorites. I highly recommend reading her most popular posts found along the right side of the page. Unless you don't have a sense of humor or know and care any amount about a well written post. Then forget it. You probably won't enjoy it. And you're not worthy of reading it. Instead, turn your attention to my second post where you can learn the difference between "your" and "you're".
Yet another enticing picture:
Why is it more fun to learn when the teacher is either yelling at me or speaking about bizarre and unreasonable circumstances?.............. Yes, there are too many periods in a row to create an appropriate ellipsis, but according to this post (another from the writer on my first post) it should reflect the actual length of the pause. And yes, I wanted an uncomfortable silence there. Check out my third post for more (and better) information.
No picture on this one for enticement, so here's one from a completely unrelated post:
I hope you all feel well informed. Or at least you are smiling, in which case, I win.
