Anyone like Dungeons and Dragons??
My friends and I are getting together on Saturday (edit March 3rd) evening to get our game on. It's rare that we can all get together these days. When we were in college we would play all summer long. Do twelve hours at a time and stay over at their house for days! I can't believe how much time we've put into one campaign.
Eventually, after Jen and Brion started posting mini comics about our adventures, people started to want to see what was happening. So we started live streaming the event. I can't imagine it's that amazing to watch, but some people like it. I love the comments that people would post up on there. It still has our old recordings up. I don't know if the live steaming will work this weekend, but if it does, you are all welcome to join!
Our game is more of what I would call Dungeons and Demons because we have no dragons. It's a full human campaign. But all the details are Brion's own personal touches. He made all our characters, their abilities, the items, the places and maps, the enemies... he just uses 3.5 as a base structure for his own game. Or campaign is finally at is end. We are slowly climbing to the top of the very last tower...
But the good news is that Jen is making a new D&D game off of her comic called Mystic Revolution. She'll be making an actual game book and everything if all goes well. So I think that is what we'll be playing next. Boy do I love being a geek!
And just for fun, I'll add our silly adventure picture. I don't know why they hell we thought this was so funny, but I assume someone mispronounced crow so it sounded like cow. And so we started making crow/cow hybrids:
