Man it's been some time since I've properly blogged.
You know when life happens? Shit gets good, then shit hits the fan... Then you have to recover and get over it
(whatever it may be that spazzed out.)
After that, life gets in the way some more and before you completely lose yourself, you remember what it was you were doing before all of that.
Ramblings...
Anyway, so every week @missy, @charmaine and @rambo hand out homework to the naughty girls of SG Land. And most of the time we do it, but I've been particularly bad this term, and definitely deserve more than a slap on the wrist.
Maybe someone would help me out with a good hiding? ;)
This week our subject was Halloween or our favourite halloween costume to date.
To me... Everyday is halloween.
...Well in South Africa we don't really celebrate halloween, for some weird reason. You'd think that we would...
Since SA is Americanised more than European... Correct me if I'am wrong, this is merely my opinion.
And there is nothing wrong with it being that way, I assure you. I just think it really blows that kids don't really get to go do the whole 'Trick-or-Treat" -vibe, i'd have loved that. Even dressing up for halloween was frowned upon- I remember being all dressed up with a few friends in '07, 17 year old and going to the store before a halloween party, people actually grabbed their kids. Fuck. Here some people say it's satanic others have different opinions. Hell, even having a black cat and being slightly alternative can stir things up in my town. Bare in mind that I live in a small town outside of Cape Town. Small towns...
So I escape to the city at every opportunity.
Anyway enough blabbering, we do have halloween parties though. At bars and clubs.
I haven't quite dressed up for halloween in a few years, always working has sort of led me to forget to plan outfits. So I cant really add to the pile of pictures and blogs, but I'm going to try.
Yeah-no...Sorry to disappoint, I couldn't find any that were good from an actual halloween, maybe they are on my other laptop... For another blog entry maybe? :)
Heres something that isn't disappointing though.. And proof that trying again doesn't hurt.
My new set "In Bloom" went into the que this morning, 5 months wait till you get to see the rest of it, but I LOVE this set. It was so cold that day, it shows, but I had allot of fun in the orchard that day, hope you all will enjoy it!
Anyhoo..
Artillery has to turn in now, before I oversleep tomorrow.
