I just moved to a new continent where I know no one. I used to fantacize about being completely incognito - the possibilities of reinventing my character... but its really not so fun when no one gets the joke. i miss my friends... but from my window, i am looking at beatiful mountains over a lovely lake. much better than subburban slush on icy sidewalks.

So, this is the very first time I write something on an online journal... very strange. I can't get over the idea that anyone can read this and yet I maintain complete annonymity. Ah, technology.

as much as it sucks that you're also cranking out a big paper right before it's due, i'm glad that i'm not the only one that got myself stuck in this spot.

so this is your first journal entry... i'm surprised that you held off for as long as you did. the whole online journal thing is really stupid sometimes, but it's fun to have a place to freak out and blab.
