o6Jun08 1400-1500 people at the Freightliner Clevelend (NC) Truck Manufacturing Plant Will be laid off. The lay off will affect people with a hire date in August of 1996 and later. That's right, folks... ten plus years of service to a company gets you... ... ... squat. The number is 1400-1500, because alot of people within this time frame will be opting to retire and keep at least part of their insurance and such while the rest of us get to wade thru the ever more competitive minimum wage pool available to us locally. Just a heads up.

God Bless Bill Clinton and his wonderful NAFTA! Maybe we should just go ahead and elect Hillary so we can get rid of the rest of those pesky middle class jobs!
