Wow, been a while hasn't it? Ive been out of and around the country since my last update (Playdate in the Sandbox and training), while trying to deal with the shambles of what others are making of my job 
; see What Makes Me Sad/Mad and you'll get the idea. To everyone who wished me a happy birthday, THANK YOU!, and sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you.
Nothing spectacular has happened since my last update, but there has been a few significant self realizations that are slowly sinking in; hopefully they'll stick, and soon
. Ultimately, it all boils down to me being less self critical, listening to others and subsequently doing what I have the brains and talent for; basically, doing what I'm doing right now, but at a higher level. The trick is to figure out the details and fit it into everything else I want to do. On to other things!
Books!- Recently, I have discovered the works of Dan Abnett; specifically the Gaunt's Ghosts series from the Balck Library's Warhammer 40k novels. Awesome! Great stories, wih great characters, great drama, great atmosphere! Even if you're not a fan of Warhammer 40K it's a good read.
DVDs!- Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig. The first was good, the second is even better, and the Tachikomas are back!
The soundtrack is great as well; another great offering from Yoko Kanno.
Movies!- I haven't seen anything recently, but I defintely plan on seeing the new Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and Aeon Flux.
