So I've added two new schools to the grad list:
Boston University
NYU
I like these because I'll be able to do grad work not just in writing but literature as well (I did this for my BA). Boston also has "teaching at the college level courses"-I enjoy writing on a personal level, but would rather teach lit courses. BU also has Agni-a good lit journal. Cons-no non-fiction (the grad site actually says they aren't and have never been interested in creative non-fiction).
Still on the list:
Emerson (I like that their MA programs combine writing and technical (creating layouts, etc) courses.
Columbia (MA Journalism) The program appeals to me and I'd be able to utilize the wealth of academic resources in the city.
UIowa - Has fiction and doesn't leave non-fiction by the roadside. Cons- It's in Iowa.
Ha! You've got to be joking right?
I still can't get over the price for Medill (Northwestern-$58k)
