It feels like no one at my house can appreciate this fact. Literally, got an I don't care attitude.
In 2010 I was hospitalized weighing 438 pounds. I have been on 14 meds a day.
6 diabetic meds (including insulin), 3 for bi-polar depression, 3 narc painkillers, 1 high blood pressure, 1 cholesterol
Friday I weighed in at 268 pounds. Today, my doctor called and took me OFF 4 more meds.
I am now completely of the painkillers. I am off insulin (last year as extreme issues of low blood sugar) and NOW down to 1 diabetic med.
In my weightloss journey, I have now come off 7 meds. That is 7 less artifical treatments in my system, a total of 12 pills less a day, I take.
I am so freaking happy, I am accomplishing a goals. But some people around me don't seem to care. And it has me in a kind of why do I care mode now. -sighs-
I guess I am frustrated. Thought they were friends, maybe they are just roommates afterall.
