Driving to school, this morning and watching the sky as the sun rose gave me warm sense of hope. I was taught since I was a child that rainbows are a sign of a promise from God. This morning (6:30 am EST) I noticed that as the sun was rising that the sky started off red, then faded to orange, with a brief touch of yellow before going green and then various shades of blue until the indigo of the last of night's sky. I wonder if the morning sunrises are a promise from God of a new and better day than the one before. :)
