So I've been very much involved with my younger brother's band lately, just managing their funds and doing some scheduling for them. The band is very young and has formed just by growing up together. So anyway... The drummer supposedly "wrote" some lyrics for them. I looked over them and I thought to myself that they were pretty good and had not been aware that he could write in the first place?? My brother trusted him and used them. It was truly amazing what they did with it. It sounded great! Then recently the girl that updates the website found that the lyrics were in fact ripped off some other band. I was furious and amused at the same time! We totally kicked him to the curb... What in the hell?? How? Why? What could posses someone to do something like that? Especially when it is bound to be discovered! Such an embarrassment to the band! How can the group recover from something like that?
