Oh my God, I'm not dead!

Not got much time for SG at the moment though, work and stuff takes up all my time. Will try and catch up with everybody soon though, and post more. Yeah right.

Hope everybody is doing well! Love you all, even if I don't say hi really. Sorry about that.

I am doing a little bit better now...just been so fucking stressed out about work, relationships and everything. It really sucks because like 98% of my really close friends (like you) live so far away that it makes it so hard to talk. I do miss you however, and hope that you are doing good.
kiki_michelle:
hey there.. thanks for the kind words.. I'm doing okay, its all just very weird, but I think I'm handling everything okay.

I agree about the logo.. will it ever go away? i don't like it

I'm not dead! \o/

Instead I am incredibly busy with no rest in the foreseeable future. Don't
you hate it when real life gets in the way of other, more appealing things?
Between work, getting fit at the gym (which is working, huzzah!), climbing
and trying to have some kind of social life, I have virtually no time left
for other things I'd like to...

Well, it's been a bit of a shit week already. Boyfriend troubles, which I'm
not going to get into because he's on here too and that's just rude. Also my
dad's best friend of 30-odd years has died, he found out yesterday. It was a
shock, and they don't know whether he had a heart attack and came off his
bike or came off his...

I tried to make a doctor's appointment. Simple, you might say. I thought so
too. I phoned the surgery, and after a few redials got the receptionist on
the phone, only to be told that since I'm not actually registered there at
the moment (what with having been up in Durham for the past four years) I
can't have an appointment. That's ok, I understand...

SERENITY NOW!!

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. Now I understand where the Aussies got their complicated ways from. biggrin

Ouch! that sucks hon!
If it's any consolation, the condo won't do moveins on evenings or weekends. So I need to take a day off right after I get back from montreal to move. Which means I need to be packed by monday night. and need to 'waste' a day off. frown

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse than those damn Heely
things...

More people are sold per year nowadays than during the entire 400 years of
legalised slavery. It's illegal, but it hasn't stopped.

I'm blaming it on the fact that my keyboard sucks. The letters "e" and "t" often scarcely show up at all, and most of others have similar issues. Including "r," apparently.

Confused at bedtime - I've done what I needed to do.

I originally meant to type - and may well have actually typed - "drinky."

Oh dear, it's been a while. What have I been doing? Well...

I graduated, which was lots of fun and involved swanning round in a fancy gown with a fur-trimmed hood (oh, I love that Durham has Traditions!). I met Bill Bryson, who is our Chancellor, a couple of times - once for the Stop the Traffik campaign stuff, which meant that we got to...

The hardest part is gaining any kind of momentum. Oh well.

But congratulations on graduating. That's something to be proud of.

And it's nice to see you around again.

I love "schnortelled"! Can I use it? (I'll give credit!)

My parents live less than 10 minutes from Rock City, and I grew up going there, so when I read that book it absolutely cracked me up!

Hope you are well!

K, just a quick one.

I'm home, internet here costs money *gasp*, and SG takes far too long
to load. I'll probably not check it properly till I'm back in Durham
on the 9th of January - I might check blog comments but that's going
to be about it.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, I spent most of the day eating and
drinking smile oh and...

I ache from climbing again, which is nice. Spent a lot of time bouldering, which I don't usually enjoy as much as routing, but today I seemed to be getting on with it. Heh, it's like I want to go in for BUSA or something! <shifty glances>

Also, I found this news story about the US "exiling" someone to Canada - are they even allowed...

Glad to see your working so hard. I want to see climbing pictures.

Wow that was totally random whatever

Ah, a bit of eye candy always makes things a bit more interesting. That probably sounds shallow, but eh... pretty people are nice to look at, which is why I'm sure most of us are members on here!

I'm glad you found yourself a book on Abebooks. It's amazing how much money you can save on there, I also really like comparing the prices on there, when there is a huge price gap between the cheapest and most expensive, but then I am kind of strangely analytical in that way.
