So good and bad news...
I'll start with the bad first: We didn't get the home loan---I qualify for it but I don't make enough money...so they needed a co-signer. My mom helped me out and filed with me as the co-signer...and I think she OVER qualifies. Yeah, listen to this bullshit. With this USDA home loan you need to prove a low to very low income (which I definitely fit) but make enough to prove you can easily afford the monthly payments (which I can--but I guess I don't make enough in their eyes). So they ask for a co-signer (which in all my previous experience is someone who has excellent credit, stable work and financial history and proof of income to pay monthly payments should I default). My mother has over an 800 credit score, no debt in her name except $7,000 left on her house. ONLY $7,000! She has a stable job of more than 15 years and makes more than a sufficient income to pay back the loan should I default on it. You would think this would get me the loan, right? Nope---she over fucking qualifies because SHE doesn't fit into the low to very low income family???? Now, answer me this: If I fit into that bracket of low to very low income and I can't qualify for the loan without a co-signer because I don't make enough...then how could they expect me to get a co-signer that also has a low to very low income to be able to qualify with me? Aren't co-cosigners supposed to have ample money, credit and a great long standing history? What the fuck!?! So, fuck the USDA and their shitty loan!
Anyway, enough bitching. On to the good news:
I submitted my set SG shoot! I really enjoyed this process so much. I think the first few photos in my set came out a bit too bright---I'm still learning how to light my own shoot. But I'm really pleased on how they turned out. So once they go into member review, everyone should check them out and let me know what you think. I would love any and all critique, criticism, advice and comments you all have. I really love that the SG community is so helpful to the newcomers and Hopefuls. It's really appreciated!
Cheers and Love
