Hello my little snow angels!
Happy Holidays!
How was your Christmas?! Mine was honestly the best Christmas I have ever had. For me, Christmas has never been a very joyous occasion. It has always felt more like a forced synthetic happiness, almost as if everything was an act during family dinner, then I would fall asleep in the car ride home listening to my parents talking about the shitty time they had. Not this year though. This year I decided to detach myself from the bullshit and spent Christmas with my boyfriend and his family. I could hardly believe that a holiday that had always seemed like a nightmare can be so wonderful. I am so thankful that I am fortunate enough to have such great people in my life. I also got some really rad gifts this year too! Luscious and Dane got me a pretty owl necklace (Luscious has a matching one) and a neat jewelry box that looks like a delicious cupcake. So sweet of them, they are such fantastic room mates! The boyfriend got me a sailor moon doll that I am in love with among other cool things, and oddly enough, the exact same graphic novel I got him for Christmas......weird huh? I also got him the greatest gift of all...a 1 year subscription to SG! Say hello to Blamesday! He makes me a very happy Archie, so please go make friends and show him exactly why SG is so amazing!
So, a couple of weeks ago when I went back to visit my hometown, I took some photos with my old friend Jeff just for fun. We shot in a graveyard that was really close to the house where I did most of my growing up. Here are some of my favourite shots:

I'm really excited for New Years eve too! Blamesday, Luscious, Dane and myself will be going to Night Owl! A new bar that just opened in London Ontario, so if you live in the area, buy a ticket and come party with us!!!
And we all know with a new year, comes new years resolutions! So here are mine!
ARCHIE'S 2010 RESOLUTIONS
1.Go to school in August (finally)
2. Make a trip out to Vancouver for a month or so.
3. Get most of the tattoos that I have always wanted.
4. Shoot many many sets for SG.
5. Get my artwork into a gallery again.
6. Home cooked meals more often.
7. Maybe have some sort of website of my own up and running by 2011.
8. Go to New York again to visit Brooklyn and July!
9. Become an expert at lomography.
10. Try snowboarding.
I'm sure there are resolutions that I am forgetting to add. 2009 has been filled with some of my lowest lows and my highest highs, and I am really excited for the awesome times 2010 is sure to bring.
Completely off topic, I'm bored with my hair and have been contemplating doing something super drastic. Is it cheesy that I really want a hair-do reminiscent of my favourite X-Men character?

Last but not least, my set Touring the Facility (shot by the ever so talented AlissaBrunelli is still in Member Review. I got naked on a government building for you SG, and it would mean the world to me if it went live, please check it out and leave a comment if you haven't already.
