Today I ran through one of three presentations I'm going to be giving at a conference in San Diego next week. I gave it to my co-workers and asked them to be brutally honest about what sucked. They had a very short list..... I hope that's a good thing and that they aren't just afraid of offending me.
The largest crowd I've ever presented to was ~=25 people. These sessions could have upwards of 400 people, some of whom are extremely technical.... so they'll jump on any mistake and try to eat me alive.
Tomorrow and Wednesday I'll practice my remaining two sessions and then spend the weekend polishing up the rough edges. I'm not really nervous about the whole thing, just a little anxious because a lot of people I know will be in the audience.
