I have survived midterms and all seems well enough. I won't know how I scored until tomorrow, but then again, I don't frankly care. Okay, that's not entirely true; I care how my Contemp. Poetry midterm came out. That, though, is a matter of respect, and of wanting to earn it with The Lich.
Speaking of the good professor, our conference last week was postponed because of mutual sickness. It's been rescheduled for Wednesday. I'm still a bit excited and nervous. There's nothing riding on the meeting, but, again, it's a matter of face.

Part of my recent absence was due to the holiday weekend. I went home, visited with close friends from high school, went to many a barbeque, and helped de-badge an '05 STi. (I also helped to install a short-throw in an '04 Evo VIII.) And, while the overall weekend was great, I've caught the urge to mod my SVT Focus.
The list of things I want to change on the car is small right now. I'm not about to drop a Vortec on my little I4, as that would make for far more car than I can currently handle, but the little things (e.g. intakes and high-flow cats) keep registering in my mind as benign--and that is a bad thing. On my PleaseGodGetMeToSeattle budget, I'm try to avoid even reading about sport compacts (or hearing about my friend's newest addition to his Evo) until I actually have income.

I think the Jordan's Furniture store nearby is going to carry Batman Begins on their IMAX screen. I hope I don't have to kill anyone for tickets.
Edit: If my account suddenly goes gray it's b/c the USPS mistakely returned my replacement check card to sender; and without it I have no way to pay SG or anyone else.

I'm eating waffles and fried chicken for breakfast. It's nice.
