On a lighter note...
Last night I was hunting a mated pair of elite lions in Winterspring with some of my guildmates. We saw over general chat that a fellow player was working on the same quest, so we figured "What the hell? We'll drop him a line."
Narz was a lonely warlock, for all of his fellows were otherwise engaged or preparing for bed--as I should have been. Perhaps the extreme cold of Azeroth's arctic circle had damaged his brain after being abandoned, I'm still not sure, but, somehow, these words appreared on my screen:
"them sabers got stealth bitches to."
Even if you don't know or understand the context, the hilarity of the words surely shines through, at least enough to generate a wry smile. I've never laughed harder while playing a video game. My immediate response?
/tell Tarrent: That last line was a true tribute to the English language.
He agreed. Narz's words now grace the coveted space of the Guild Message of the Day. Thank you, Narz--for giving me an unexpected and much needed laugh. I salute you.

maya isn't quite an intimidating as i expected. at first glance, the interface is pretty overwhelming, but most of it seems logical so i'm picking it up rather easily. i've worked with 3dsmax before as well. i must say, maya wins.
maybe i should give AO another chance. maybe. i downloaded the free version they offer. i didn't especially know what i was doing once my ship crash landed or whatever. the area i wanted to go to, the research lab? was only available with the expansion. DAoC is intriguing me. i may give it a shot. as for neocron, i don't know if it is my style of game.
